Raced awfully well after a rough start. The Lukas horse can obviously run as well...his 1st-timers don't usually look like that.

Yes, the Lukas filly was impressive. She was geared down. She could have won by more. They paid a lot of money for her. They bought her as a yearling for $435,000. As you said, DWL rarely wins first time out. He was 1 for 40 going into this race.

The Blame filly ran a decent second. As you said, she broke last and then she was in a drive all the way around the turn. After making that big wide move, she looked like she flattened out a little bit the final 1/16th of a mile, which is what you would expect with that kind of a trip.

The Lukas filly(Take Charge Brandi) runs tomorrow (Friday) in the Schuylerville at Saratoga. I think she has a big shot in there. She'll be a good price too.
