That's disappointing. He ran Rachel Alexandra in the Preakness off of 15 days rest & it sure didn't ruin the rest of her 3yo year.

That probably was more of the owners decision.

You are right.
I just meant that he has an example from his own barn where running a filly back in the Preakness wasn't ruinous. I wish he'd follow that example here.

Don't think they realized how close those are. I imagine she'll run in the Acorn, since the purse is enormous, then the CCA Oaks at Saratoga.

She's not bred like Rags to Riches. I don't see them wanting to go 12 furlongs.

Plenty of spots to make money this summer, and they'll find a spot to take on the boys eventually.
