Do you think he would if Hoppurtunity wins the Derby? Would be an interesting conversation between him and Kaleem Shah I bet.

this is why i can't imagine juggling horses, or why i wouldn't want my 'big' horse in a barn with other big ones. it's the downside to having these super trainers.
are they doing what's best for horses, or themselves? do you tell an owner no because you don't want to explain to another owner why you ran a horse against his?

that's what i call a sticky situation.

It's Myositis Dan for me. Bayern is the horse to beat, but I have three red marks against him, play against angles if you will.....
1.) Short return off a big effort
2.) Cheap speed in here hurts him
3.) He has to go from the one

I guess Baffert stated that Bayern wouldn't run back even if he did make the field. A run at the Preakness seems more likely if he runs well.

Please Jerry... Save it. Call was a slam dunk. The bumping was mutual and then hapless Napravnik made the decision automatic herding the winner 4 paths.

Mutual? She freaking started it!

Also, why 5 wide into the first turn?

Agree Steve that was an Easy Call, Didn't notice it at first during the Live running as I was watching our colt.

From what I saw taking him down was the right call. I had Myositis Dan, so purely an unbias observation.

I didn't bet the race, just watched it and think the call to take Bayern down was TERRIBLE! Even though I had no money on it the thought of having the winner and being screwed out of my money like this makes me think this game is even more impossible.
