I picked Seattle on this website before the season. I said 10 days before kickoff that I was playing Seattle heavy. Ultimate get out for the shitty year. I'll tell you now a year ahead of time..... Seattle repeats and I'm putting half of my winnings on them from last night on them to win it all at 5-1.

Lots of good Week 1 Match ups for the NFL opener in Seattle"

Here are Seattle's eight home opponents: Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, and Oakland Raiders.

Seattle is 7 points better then all of them at home, except San Fran and a healthy Packer team.

I think it is much harder than you think to repeat. 5-1 isn't enough of a price for me. But I agree the NFC is likely to be pretty dominate again next year.

Doubt it will be SF as they are opening a new park and will probably request a home opener. I'd say either GB or Denver..

god..I'm pathetic...contemplating Seattle's opponent 7 months from now

Pitchers and Catchers anyone?

Eventually this team has to lose some guys. Everyone on that D gets paid eventually. But not this year. They will bring back almost the same team. With a healthy Percy who proved how valuable he is last night. I think these guys play with a huge chip. Wilson, Sherman, Chanceller none of them first or second round picks. All hungry. I think they will be better. Plus they have the NFC east next year. Worst division in the NFL. Only real competition would be a healthy GB and Rodgers. I think San Fran is great, but Seattle does everything they do, but better.

As Bob says that would be a flat out awful bet. Teams do not repeat anymore sometimes they don't even make the playoffs/ Good call on Seattle though.

On the road to Carolina, KC (2nd best Home Field Advantage), Philly? SD? plus their own division. That's a tough schedule to possibly win home field advantage again.
