![]() Hey ed... the Telegraph?
Not to sound completely stupid here but is that race named after someone (watch it's a great and historic horse that I have never heard of) cause I was gonna say they should honor Mufhasa somehow and just kinda wondered... Thanks! |

![]() I honestly don't know! I don't think it's named after a horse. It's had the same name since it was first run in 1891, but I have no idea what the reason for it is. But that's a really good idea!
![]() Also, the TAB website has introduced live streaming! I haven't tried it out yet, but here's the link: https://www.tab.co.nz/racing/video |

![]() I will check that out and thanks and oh for the record... didn't mean to nonchalantly suggest they change the name of such an historic race but it seems like it could be a fitting possibility (?).

![]() Also, amazing fields for the other stakes races on Boxing Day!
The fabulous 1000 Guineas winner, Costa Viva, returns in the Eight Carat Classic - against two other last-start stakes winners, and the undefeated Procurement. Chambord v Lucia Valentina and a few other seriously good 3yos in the Guineas. Shuka, Historian, Lady Kipling, Survived, Viadana, Zurella... Can't wait! |
