GARY YOUNG'S SPR-FMS-DM-MAR CLOCKER NOTES:

DM-GOLDENCENTS (10/18) 4 furlongs in 46.4, splits of 23.1: This was a good work. Is he good enough? We’ll find out. He’s doing well into the test.

M/DM-FED BIZ (10/21) 5 furlongs in 59.2, splits in 35.2, and a gallop out in 1.12.2: He worked decently but I don’t think he’s good enough to win a tough edition of the Mile, but I can’t knock the work.

S-PRIVATE ZONE (10/17) 4 furlongs in 45.4, splits in 22.2: Worked like a “raped ape” as we say. Caught sight of some Mandella horses in front of him and he caught up to them at the wire. Pedroza was just a passenger the entire way. With a speed horse, you worry in the BC Sprint how much heat he’ll take, but a horse can’t work any better than he worked…especially a horse readying for the Sprint.

S-TRINNIBERG (10/18) 4 furlongs in 46.4: Doesn’t have the smoothest way of traveling and I admire his courage as he’s been a noted warrior throughout his career, but between his last race and this work, he ain’t repeating.
