Some of us think it an outrage that without the new rule in place Boehner would have settled on a deal that not only fully opens the government but also opens negotiations on the sequester. Of course that would have nothing to do with cutting spending but on the contrary increases spending.

Interesting I found this tidbit

It's a mess but it's a messy job cleaning a mess up.

Come up with and pass a 30 day debt ceiling raise and leave the government shut down till a reasonable budget and not talks on a budget is agreed to.
