![]() If you haven't watched this, catch the replay. Miz Ida emerges from cover and ropes Daisy Devine and friends really nicely. May not be able to tackle the Just a Game filles yet, but headed in that direction.

![]() Big fan of Miz Ida because of her dam, May Gator. When i worked for the Klein family we claimed May Gator for 30k at CD in her 3yo year. I still can't believe we claimed a Green Alligator out of a Classic Account mare. In fact we had selected another filly in that race but Steve Flint was not happy about how she looked on the walkover. He called Richard Klein and said don't drop the slip on her. Why they selected May Gator at the last minute is beyond me. Anyway she churned over 500k over the next few years. She was hard headed, and legs made of iron. You couldn't hurt her if you took a sledgehammer to her..(figure of speech)..Anyway Miz Ida is her first foal. Her second foal Gator Zone by Sharp Humor is also a stakes winner with a promising future ahead of her. Before Miz Ida made the races the Kleins were in the process of thinning out their broodmare band in Ky. May Gator was one of the mare's they decided to sell.
