Gracias, Nicole.

I love tributes ...especially when they're for me.

Maybe an Al Davis style helmet decal avatar tribute as well?

That would be classy!

But, of course, SAL instead of AL.

By the way...can someone please send that Charles Ramsey character from Cleveland over to Rupert Pupkin's house.

I think KyRim has been chained up there for the last few years.

And speaking of Charles Ramsey ... I don't want to get the govt conspiracy theorists crazies all riled up... but he sure looks a lot like the Katrina Looter guy:

just to clarify... i was a size 14, and got down to a 4. by no means was i jabba the hut or a biggest loser candidate. things tend to creep up on you when you have a child, then two, then three, and then quit smoking-that was the killer.
at any rate, that was about 12 years ago, much healthier and happier now.

Speaking of weight has any horse ever carried as much dead wood as Orb is going to have to? Virtually every clueless idiot in racing has already declared him the next Triple Crown winner. That is a lot to overcome.

Fortunately, at least for my personal interests, the weight frequently seems to become an anchor in the Belmont.

The Derby winner always gets way over rated coming out of that race. Orb is really no different.

I think the dice have been rolling awfully cruel over the course of this drought.

Imagine if Spectacular Bid or Easy Goer had been foaled in the Sea Hero crop with El Bakan taking a 3rd for Robert Perez in that years Preakness.

Real Quiet coming a bad nose bob short, Mine That Bird, of all horses, taking a serious swing at it, and Afleet Alex was merely a more patient ride away from beating the mighty Giacomo (50/1) and Closing Argument (70/1) ... he was a close 3rd.

Hardiness, health, lack of quality opposition within the crop, and lack of terrible ride are four big factors to pulling this sweep off.

Being able to beat Golden Soul home, this field on Saturday with Titletown Five in it, and win the Belmont doesn't feel like it's asking much at all...but the dice element hasn't been kind for triple crown hopefuls over this drought.

And he is doing it out of the dreaded 1 hole.

That would be classy!

Is it okay if I just fill in the "S" with a Sharpie? Kind of how, if I get an Orb hat and then he doesn't win the TC, I'm going to turn it into a personalized gift for my brother Rob, but I'm just going to cut out the letters and rearrange them. Because that will look real classy, in that ransom note kind of way.
