John Elway MADE Shanahan, period.
What has he done with all of his QB's since?...screwed 'em up?

He has a putrid post-Elway resume, and i think he is WAY overrated as a head coach.

I have always agreed with this.
Mike Shanahan should get down on his knees and thank God everyday for John Elway.

He sure knows how to take 6th round running backs though.

That he does - Shanahan has always had a solid running attack, which is a QB's best friend.
All the more amazing that he hasn't had any post-Elway success.

His Dad just tweeted that he needs the ACL replaced as well. That's a year off easy.

Sorry to hear about that guys. He, along with Morris, brought an excitement to that team that hasn't been there in quite some time. So much so that I bought 6 extra tickets to the week 16 game to go see them with friends from Maggiano's. Only thing (and i mean only) good about my team sucking this year was the ticket prices of some of the late in the season home games.

He'll bounce back and be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. Esp, when he throws the ball 15 times against our porous defense for 4 touchdowns.

i do too. and i was amazed at the attention his son was getting as oc this year. he put together plays for the qb they had-that's not rocket science, it's common sense for the coaching staff.

i just don't get why they kept playing griffin. he was obviously injured, and obviously hindered. if a qb can't plant his foot/leg, how can he make good throws? especially deep? cousins should have been put in, the game wasn't winnable the longer griffin played. his injury shut down the offense. again, not rocket science.

declan, morris being picked was a fantastic move.

just read the above, thought i'd link it. shanahan is the coach, he must do what's best for the team. griffin should have been pulled, whether he liked it or not. and the writer is correct, someone must keep him from trying to do too much, too soon, and cause a longer healing period as a result of being hard-headed.
