It has a lot to do with it actually. SEC schools beat up on each other and pound their chests about how good the SEC is. What big wins do they have out of conference? Everyone gives Bama, Florida, LSU, and Georgia credit when they beat each other and this bowl season has proven that they aren't superior out of conference.

Great stat, good luck Alabama.

"The Irish allowed -5 total yards on 39 goal-to-go plays this season, the fewest yards and lowest average in the nation. Against the run, their opponents had -28 yards on 24 carries."
