Good to hear about Sam also, hopefully it was a blessing in disguise and he comes back bigger, stronger and gritter.

Looking forward to watching Cash Me In, should like the weeds.
Rick told Lans that N.P. came out of the race fine. Now we hear different. Is this because of the legal meds(which allow them to compete)wear off,and only then do the injuries become noticeable?

Scuds - Not at all, in my opinion.

Not Phone has had a long history of physical issues. I purchased him privately in Argentina in 2001. He was Group placed and showed potential.

He's been a very fun horse to own, winning impressively in CA and NY. If you look at him from a comformation standpoint, though, he "stands over" his front shoulders somewhat. This has caused some physical issues w/ his front legs (specifically his front left leg). Tomorrow will be his third (minor) operation in that area. Hopefully he will recover well from the surgery and resume training w/in 40 days.

I love this horse ... he has an unbelievably gentle disposition for a colt (you can stand in the stall with him and he'll rest his head on your shoulder). He's 8 this year, but he was born in late November (Southern Hemp breeding season), is lightly raced, and probably has a year or so left racing at top levels on the turf (one mile or less).

Great tidbits, Lbigdog. Thanks.
