I have another question...who is the QB next week?

I wonder what kind of shape Vinny Testaverde is in.

That's a great question, and the next game being here in Jax adds an extra twist.
The one thing I'm fairly certain of, no matter who is under center, it wouldn't be surprising if it was the worst game ever.

Sanchez, announced it today. He will probably play a decent game against the worst team in the league and make Rex look "smart".

i don't know that even peyton manning or tom brady could accomplish that.

Rex is a great defensive coach. And he made it to two conference finals in his first two years as a head coach, winning 4 playoff games on the road.

Obviously something isn't right in NY right now, but he's a good coach overall IMO.

But I can't believe Sanchez is starting this weekend, although if the goal is to try and get his confidence back, this is a good game to do it.

we've seen many over the years who were good to great coordinators, who just don't cut the mustard as head coach. i think this is one of those situations. perhaps rex is just a defensive mind, and just doesn't 'get' how to deal with qb's. you know, like most coaches can't figure out their kickers. when they asked joe gibbs once about a punter, he paused and then said 'kickers...'. that was his answer.
or maybe it's the owner and gm? who knows? some teams just are stuck in a morass, no matter what they do, who they hire, who they draft. the jets are snakebit.

As Seattle does with Flynn, but that doesn't stop Pete from keeping him on the sidelines. Russel gives them the best chance to win, therefore he plays.

Just to ensure that today's Jets/Jags game may be one of the worst games ever played, it has been pouring down rain here in Jax for the last 2 hours or so.

It's going to be hard pressed to top last weeks Jets-Cards barn burner.

You can have him! Just keep him upright and teach him how to read blitzes & get rid of the ball!

Vick has been overrated from day one. His completion perrcentages have always been average. That said, the snafu jets would probably take him.

Woody Johnson will probably go after a guy like Cam Newton - someone who will make headlines (even bad ones)

David Garrard is 34 but looked good in pre-season for Dolphs

Finally, where is Chad Pennington these days ????

There is a better chance that someone takes Tebow and Sanchez in a package deal than Carolina trading Newton

The Jets are a complete joke. You know Im right. They need a lot more then just a QB.
Alex Smith feels safe. If Im Alex Smith, no way I go there.
Maybe they can give NE a 2 or 3 for Mallet??

Arguably the greatest pro football coach of all time.

Ask Santa for The History of Pro Football for Christmas. Ever heard of Sammy Baugh?
