YES! That is a top rate colony out there in Southern California!

No doubt. Here Comes Bonnie never fired. An 10 horse field, 9 were overlays. That being said, Orlando Mojica, Steve Knapp are hardly a recipe for success. Still, the horse had a couple of synthetic races that indicated she was possible here.

To be fair, he has earned it as he has ridden better than any of those suckers in that colony, including Bejarano. Now that Rosario is gone, overall that is one sad sack riding colony in Southern California.

Admittedly, I haven't watched this fall meet too much, but it still floored me when I heard Vic mention it. Maybe he has improved, a lot, because the last few meets I remember watching him, he was decidedly below average, at best.

So I am redboarding and prob gonna piss some people off but gotta get some hedge thoughts.... Alive to late pk4 at hollywood to 1,2,7,12. Payoffs range from $6k to $30k. Who do I do but $100 win bets on as a hedge. I am thinking 9 and 13

Thoughts

Your handicapping skills here in the past speak for you. If people give you sh*t about redboarding, f*ck 'em.

I like the 4 that you have covered, but I think the 3 can win this race. I have a feeling that this 5 is well meant and it is not a very good field, so I am taking a shot with him. Then again, my handicapping has been atrocious lately.

The 9 is a toss for me, he just finds ways to lose.

Im with Nick on the 3 being able to win. Otherwise, I think you are good.

I hope you ran to the windows and bet the 9 after I said I didn't like him. F'n Marty Jones, he is a hell of a trainer.

Sorry Root, I thought the Calvary was coming.

Hope you pounded the 9.

I think it is a combination between improved riding and riding in a colony that is not very good. He has been legit to use lately and honestly has been riding well, but look at his competition there. Southern California is begging for a few good riders to step in there.
