agreed but now you factor in the politics.. top jock jj dq yesterday..owners/top in the game for most wins..the 2/5 wagering fav..it adds up to double dq

The infraction doesn't effect the race outcome but politics trumps that haha gotta love it. I don't like when I'm too cynical about the game but you're probably right Hooves

What politics are involved Matt? Wasn't it Castellano that was taken down yesterday? And Midwest Thoroughbreds leads the wins standings by maybe 300.. Who cares if they do or don't get put up?

that call was a joke and if you dont believe those stated reasons were the cause of it than you are naive. imo

The call was of course a joke. What exactly would I be naive about? You don't need to reach beyond incompetent to explain the calls they make down there year after year.

How many other states/jurisdictions have a protest option? I know anyone can probably present a challenge to the stewards or commission, but is this approach of bringing in a 3rd party done anywhere else?
