![]() ![]() it's a shame that whoever loses the sec championship will most likely drop below fla-who will actually benefit by having missed the finale. that makes no sense. but then, it's also a shame that teams who are well up in the standings will get a lesser bowl because of how the bcs games are filled. ga, bama, or fla will be out of a top bowl. conferences with an automatic berth will have a far less deserving team getting in. too bad. yet another reason why every single game counts. one loss could cost you, even if you're inside the top five.

This year more then any other year proves there needs to be a playoff. I feel8 teams could be National Champions this year. The 8 are.... Notre Dame, Bama, Georgia, Ohio St, Stanford, Oregon, Florida and even Texas A&M. I also feel Georgia is clearly the worst of the 8. Just look at the schedule they played. Its a joke. |

![]() I apologize. I assumed you were talking about the BCS title game. I agree with you. Florida likely ends up in a BCS game and Georgia won't. I think if Georgia upsets Bama all 3 teams end up in a BCS game.

http://www.bcsfootball.org/news/story?id=4819597 The champions of the Atlantic Coast, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and Southeastern conferences will have automatic berths in one of the participating bowls through the 2013 regular season. No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings. and then there's this: The pairings may not be altered by removing the Big Ten Champion or Pac-12 champion from the Rose Bowl. and people want to know why there's no big playoff series? because, right now, money, big bowls and the attention it brings are guaranteed to these conferences. the lesser teams benefit as well, because many conferences divide bowl money won. so, each year the pac 12 and big 10 know they get a cut of the rose bowl, regardless of who does what. if you go to a playoff, the end result would still not be 'the best get in'. it would be 'the best who win their conference' just like it is now.

![]() I don't care who they play, but if it's Georgia I am 100% confident ND will win the title. They played a soft schedule of only 2 ranked opponents, one of which blew them out 35-7 in south Carolina. I'll take Kelly over richt coaching and having a mon to prepare any day. I'll still be confident if it's bam a, just a lot more so if it's the dawgs.
