![]() Kiaran knows his horse better than I do, but I don't get Emcee running in the dirt Mile at all. If it was a one turn mile it would make a little more sense...but it isn't.

Still makes no sense to me and honestly it's kind of a negative in my mind that he's THAT concerned with post positions. Your horse is either going to run well or he isn't. Being overly concerned about something like post positions, when you have a horse of his caliber seems odd. I think he's the best sprinter in the country and he can win the Mile, but it won't be with my money. That might actually be a good thing for him though. |

![]() The Dirt Mile is almost always biased towards late runners. Emcee will find the pace scenario difficult.
I don't know if the trend towards closers winning will continue on Santa Anita dirt. |

![]() Yeah that is probably more true. It's hard to trust the speed horses if early speed types like Shackleford and Tapizar will pressure them every step of the way.
