Not much of a difference to people who see through the bulls.hit of spreading democracy in Derkaland while destroying it at home.

Just because Romney is terrible doesn't mean the current office holder isn't.

I agree. But since he's so terrible, why not just focus on what he does terrible to make a point, instead of this nonsense?

because this is easier. people love those 'gotcha' moments. it's what the news does best, take a bit of a total speech, and run with it. people's attention spans aren't made for real conversations now, so little snippets are what they want to deal with.
if it won't fit on twitter, it probably wasn't worth saying....
