Yeah, I figured some here would try and attack the messenger. So that's why just below the part you quoted, I posted the Kaiser Foundation which verifies everything she said via their own Medicare measurements.

You shoulda kept reading

Only in fantasyland can better healthcare, more covered, and lowered costs be something to attack.

I have no problem being completely honest and saying that I did not click on the second link.

Truthfully if I have X amount of time to screw around I'll do a quickie, sometimes pick one thread to look at down here and leave it till later or leave it completely alone if I can stand that.

Wasn't attacking her, just bringing it up.

I'm not really thrilled with Federal employees breaking the law but maybe that's just me.

Okay have fun.

The insurance exchanges are not yet in force, are they? That means your insurance company isn't dealing in an open, competitive market yet - they still have a bit of a monopoly over you this last year.

However, rest assured, right now, that if your insurance company doesn't spend at least 80% of that premium dollar on your health care, you will get a rebate, thanks to Obamacare. 12 million Americans already got the first rebate this year first week of August.

Right now, you, Dell, and everyone else here, have the following great benefits from Obamacare:

- You can no longer be kicked off your insurance for reaching a lifetime dollar cap

- You can never be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition.

- Your out-of-pocket medical expenses are capped.

- If you are single and make less than $43,320 a year, you will be eligible for assistance to purchase insurance on exchanges if necessary

- If you own a small business, you are except from providing insurance to your employees; if your company is more than 50 employees, you qualify for a tax credit for offering insurance to them.

- There is a new Consumer Assistance Office to help you file a complaint or appeal a decision from your insurance company.

- Insurance companies can no longer make excessive rate hikes; those doing so may be barred from participating in the exchanges.

- If you have children age 26 or less, they can stay on your family insurance.

- Your parents have had the Medicare Part D "donut hole" closed, and now they pay only 25% of drug costs up to $4550, and only 5% of drug costs above that.

Republicans want to take all the above current benefits away, and vow to repeal it January 2013.

This is such BS! As premiums sky-rocket. These employees, who do not covered has to find their own coverage that they can't handle. Yea that's some help to the lower class.

Google Kaiser Family Foundation and then donations or Obama or Solyndra...

Just for laughs.

I don't know which of the 2 sources you quoted is worse.

Yes, when you can't attack the facts and figures given by either source, change to a personal attack attempting distract from the facts, and attack the messengers You've attempted to smear HHS and the Kaiser Foundation.

Perhaps, instead of changing the subject to a distracting straw man that has nothing to do with the performance of Obamacare, you can stick to the subject, and instead give a source that shows the measured facts are somehow wrong? Just for laughs.

Or you can stick with, "Obama Sucks!" as a rebuttal.

The only fact I know is that my insurance went up.

I freelance and have paid for my kids and for myself for years.

Those are my truths.

I said google it because I'm not going to pretend I knew any of it.

I'm not trying to change the subject, only commenting of the sources you used.

Honestly I don't even care.

ROR !!! Message is if your premium is up it's the insurance company's fault - but if they go down - you can thank Obama.

I'm not going to stress over Obamacare.

I have a feeling things might work out. The flaws will be corrected and if they aren't then you will start seeing a rise in health care facilities and doctors who won't accept any form of government healthcare.

And you will see a few wise insurance companies offering indemnity, critical illness, short term health, and the like.

Change will be good.

Obama is getting reelected so we just need to toughen up and make the best of it. The more I think about the guy the more I'm starting to believe he might not be the worst thing to ever happen in the universe.
