In the United States, in 2006, 57.8% of abortions were white, 33.9% black, and the rest other minorities.

Mmm 12% of the population accounting for 40% of abortions? It obviously has nothing to do with race!

Notice how many are "red states", which are also those that get the greatest government aid for the poor via Medicaid, food stamps, welfare. As is obvious, abortion is associated with poverty.

Greater income and healthcare = less abortion. Which is why, for those of us who do not encourage abortion, organizations like Planned Parenthood, the majority of whose services are providing birth control (abortion prevention) and womens' health prevention services, are so important.
