You know, it's real funny how things can get almost crystal clear about a minute before the race goes off. I was afraid that 7 would probably beat me. I kept eyeballing that first race in her PPs in which the 7 ran her best race. It was a 112. Which in itself was a nice fig, but who she did it against was the interesting thing. She was beaten less than 2 lengths by Blind Luck and Havre de Grace. Not shabby company. Just another tale of getting whupped like a dog at the races by not noticing things you should.
So what else is new? |
