Reminder: Adkins has to get off the ticket by end of business Tuesday, or his name is still listed on the ballot no matter what (even if he bails out later).
He was double digits ahead of the Democrat before he said this. This is exactly why current Dem Senator Clare McCaskill used her superPac money to run ads in favor of this guy getting the GOP nomination in the primary. Clever, that woman - knew she'd be running against a loon if he won the primary.
