She was squeezed back at the start, fanned four or five wide into the stretch, and then came running late to finish fifth, beaten about two lengths, in a 5.5F dash won by the Proctor-trained Ponchatrain (War Front). Wasted at Midnight was a $150K Barretts 2YO and is trained by Alexis Barba.

Word was out on this horse because of workout reports, was said to be working huge and I think the trip is noticable. Should be a good horse but next out will probably be a severe underlay IMO.

The fact that this horse is being trained by Alexis "The Butcher" Barba (my opinion), leads me to believe it's going to be a bumpy road, with much unfulfilled potential when all is said and done. But I could be wrong.
