Rumsfeld has been incredibly successful at everything he has ever done. He was brought in as the CEO at a couple of different companies that were struggling. He totally turned the companies around. I belive that one was General Insruments. He's an incredibly successful guy. I thinks he's worth over $100 million.

With regard to Gates, I can't imagine that he will have any problem being confirmed. He is very well respected by both parties. I believe he has worked for Presidents from both parties.
