Heelllooo....

Well, I live in Monrovia, about 2 1/2 miles from Santa Anita. The pup in the pic is my wonderful Faith. She was a gift from a very good friend and I love her dearly. I work in racing (not at this very moment as I should be at Hollywood Park but, hey, there's TVG for that problem, right?) I'm (gasp!) 38 as of a month ago, but I'm sticking at 29 forever. I swear I don't look a day over 25! (cough, cough, cough...)

HOY? That's a tricky one. I vote and look at it as a privilege I take seriously. While I've always been a big Lava Man fan, I'm going to have to dig deeper than checking the box that corresponds to the So. Cal horse. He's impressive, for sure, but that outside of Cal thing keeps sticking. Invasor? I love him, but four races? Shades of Ghostzapper, but I won't even go there now... Bernardini? A good second against the very best may be enough for me. I've never been a big fan of his (I keep sticking on the 25 starters cumulative in 5 graded stakes pre-Breeders' Cup thing) but he was pretty tenacious in defeat against a world-class field. So, we'll see...

Glad to be here. Ya'll are pretty active, which is good for me when I should be working but end up browsing the 'net during my frequent creative brain freezes.

Awww, thanks... people always say that and I say "thanks" like I've got something to do with it. I just feed her, brush her, walk her and love her... she's just genetically gifted; her father is gorgeous. Her mother is too, but since she bit me in the leg when Faith was three weeks old (I made the mistake of getting between her and her pups) I still hold a grudge! My fault, I know, but still... it left a little scar.

I'm lucky. I get to take Faith to the track with me every morning that I go to training at Santa Anita for work. She loves it there; she has many friends, her favorite being Jay Robbins. I think she'd run away with him in a heartbeat!

I love ya'lls puppies... so sweet.

I've never met a true dog lover I didn't like. Sure, some dog people are total nutjobs, but I still liked them fine...
