President Obama visited those in the hospitals. He left them a telephone number to contact him if they ever needed anything.

Contrast that to a president flying over devastation due to Katrina, while 1500 Americans died over days due to no help.

Yes, I am unapologeticly proud of this President, and his connection to American citizens. He doesn't politically do everything I want, and I disagree with some of his policies, but compared to the wasteland we had previously, it's great to get back to having a human being in the office.

In the aftermath of Katrina the feds were too busy going door to door confiscating legally owned guns. The local police were nowhere to be found. Looters ran amok. Riot if your homicide statistics seperated gun homicides that are gang related the numbers drop a lot. I mean a lot. If the guns were to blame this would be happening ten times a day, every day, everywhere til the end of time. Why aren't more anti-gun zealots more concerned about this administration putting thousands of these weapons in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels, proven homicidal maniacs? Why the lies? Why the stonewalling? Why the cover up? I bet Holder was holding his breath til the guns in this massacre were ID'd.

Not in the least. Will vote for this POTUS again in November, and glad to do it, compared to robot-lying-Romney, the corporate-owned puppet who hasn't changed a bit since his failed 2008 campaign run.

incredibly embarrassing..

12 people killed, so many more hurt.. it is so fucl<ing sad when these things happen

Personally I want to try and remember the victims without giving the killer much thought. He's a sicko and will dominate the news, I wish he would stop being shown.

12 pretty amazing people makes my heart drop.

Wow. That's a great story.

I guess they are still worried about 11 people in intensive care, still worried some of them may yet die.

You must mean Governor Kathleen Babbling Blanco.
