yeah, i think obama laid an egg with that speech. his point was that you can't do it all alone.
but would there be a microsoft without bill gates? mcdonalds without ray kroc, wendy's without dave thomas, facebook without zuckerberg? the list goes on and on. a business takes someone with vision and ability. small businesses don't just form from nowhere, someone made that happen. plus, some fail, some succeed. both have the same ability to get assistance. so, what makes the difference? in the end, i think he was just trying to say that people need govt assistance in every aspect of their life. scary thought.

It is so very, very sad to see people simply refuse to read Obama's statement, where "didn't build it alone, you didn't build that" - the "that" was referring to infrastructures, roads, your employees education ...
