other than that, i enjoy the last few weeks of churchill and look forward to fairgrounds. something about john dooley calling races with a strange collection of LA-breds, kentucky and chicago horses all coming together at once is interesting and usually a good bang for the wagering buck

the fairgrounds was already my fav winter meet but the fact their offering 350k a day in purses should make it that much better! normally youd think of this as the"dog days of racing" but in this sport theres no such thing in my opinion
