There was lots of chatter about his soundness prior to the derby, which is why I left him off my tickets. I am not suprised this finally caught up to him. What a shame for the horse. I am happy the trainer does not go down in history though.

Him and Union Rags are HORRIBLE CHALKS. Union Rags would have been OK at 5-1 as the third choice. All Paynter for me, and maybe some bomb to mess around with.

I feel the same way Matt, what an absolute bummer. Need to have a big weekend at the windows and tables to get over this.

Still plan on using the day pass (they are too hard to come by), so hopefully I'll see you tommorrow.
