I had an eye on it, but wasn't really paying attention. Now that the realization has hit me, I am absolutely nauseous.

Lost by a nose in the first leg of the pick 4.

Decided against playing the pick 3 (I'm at work and didn't want to waste any more bullets).

Since I'm at work and got a bit busy, I didn't notice him drift up to 27-1, so didn't even have $2 bucks to win as some sort of action bet.

Then he catches my contest pick at the wire spurring a $250 exacta.

And the cherry on top, the 5 coming back and getting up (would have completed my pick 3 or 4).

What a wasted opportunity.
