Barbaro's Cast is Off

just saw it on yahoo while trying to find the photo i put on my work computer background--my daughter wanted to see it (start of the distaff, close up of the gals coming out of the gate, nice shot)...
at any rate, the cast is off, splint is on, horse looks great, walked back to his stall just fine. excellent news!!

and the backlash on berns retirement announcement already showing. i mentioned the poll on t'bred times--who should get top 3 yo, b or b. well it was pretty even early--52% for bern, 48 for barbaro.
it's now tilted to 61% barbaro. and yes, it doesn't mean squat in eclipse voting....
