Yeah, it's just too bad the San Juan Capistrano and the San Simeon don't have it anymore.

I was there, though for some reason I keep thinking it was the 10F race before that one....just remember Kotoshaan being a machine, because Bien Bien was pretty friggen good.

Bien Bien was my favorite horse when I got into the sport.

One rendition, if I recall correctly, had horses like Estrapade, Prince True, Dahar...

John Henry 1980 wire to wire. Went three quarters in 109 4/5. Never in doubt. Galloped out after the wire like he had another 1 1/4 in him.
