Matt - I have no earthly idea why, how, or what to bet on that - Bigs is scarring with all this boleta stuff... He know too much to be a casual fan.

As a rule I can't bet on something that can look at an odds board and stiff a play. I get enough of that watching Guidry ride at Tampa.

You have to view Jai-Alai as an entertainment option with a chance to make some money, almost as if they had gambling involved with professional wrestling.

The only way you can bet Jai Alai is to find the best player in singles matches.

Look for an event where he has an inside draw, and the outside number players are bums.

Bet him $4 WP (the max you can probably get away with without cutting into his odds) and wheel him on top for the minimum possible. Maybe even split the bet with someone else.

You should do relatively OK this way.

And you can yell stuff like "throw the Rebote" at the TV a lot.

That is some fine advice Doug. May I suggest that you have a 5 minute segment covering Jai alai on your new handicapping show.

Dan, I have a strong suspicion he used to PLAY, back in the 80's there was a Pelotari named Miguel Grande! I will try to find a picture

I'm just gonna be watching. Besides...if my memory serves me correctly, and it may not since it's been 3 years, but I'm fairly certain The Big M harness will be simulcast from the dog track. I just wanna watch you guys make trips notes on the dogs for bet backs.
