Or Christian religion.

Bill to ban sales of Barbie dolls proposed by West Virginia politician

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Barbie could get an unwelcome present for her 50th birthday: outlawed in West Virginia.

A state lawmaker proposed a bill Tuesday to ban sales of the iconic Mattel doll and others like her.

The proposal from Democratic Delegate Jeff Eldridge says such toys influence girls to place too much importance on physical beauty, at the expense of their intellectual and emotional development.

Yea cause those crazy Christians have always been against girls placing too much importance on physical beauty. Did you even bother reading the article you posted. I know it gives the Democrat Delegate's name but where is the Christian affiliation. From 2009 and it didn't pass. Nice try.

Guess it did mention Barbie

Ahmadinejad: Iran ready for nuclear talks

(AP) TEHRAN, Iran - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Iran is ready for nuclear talks with the world powers amid toughening sanctions aimed at forcing Tehran to sharply scale back its nuclear program.

Ahmadinejad, however, says sanctions won't force Iran to capitulate to Western demands.

of course saying they want talks, and actually having constructive discussions with real results, are two different things!
