... because it should be something that happens so frequently that there's no need to do a write up every time.

Nice to read that. He's already a popular fellow in northern Kentucky, and this donation only serves to enhance that. I like his unabashed enthusiasm -- kissing the ground in the winner's circle at Churchill.

Yes, it was a nice gesture, and a smart one. There is no way he could have spent $1,000 on any form of PR and gotten as good a return. Not to mention all the good karma.
