I say great for the owner/trainer to be able to milk $100K in purse money this year out of a horse that lost a $5K claimer by 22 lengths at 42-1. It is horse racing, correct?

That was just a prep for the 16k claimer 5 days later. Actually running 30 times in a year at Penn (and parx a little bit) and only making 100k is kind of underachieving.
Since Jan 1 of last year she has run 56 times. Wow.

Quick question since I know nearly nothing about horse expenses...do you think this horse actually MADE money this year for the owner, keeping in mind he is the trainer as well?
