i dont think you are a hater. I've just said that the competition arguement is an arguement that "haters" use. because they are making up talking points that lack perspective because tebow keeps doing something they dont think he can do.. win.

I dont think the Broncos will beat the Patriots on sunday. the Pats are a top 3 team in football IMO. but what will be idiotic, is if the pats win, everyone who doesnt root for Tebow will be "hey look and see.. Tebow sucks" and he'll still be 7-2 for a team he took over at 1-4 and everyone predicted they put tebow in so they can get the first pick in the draft.

if DT makes that 55 yard TD catch he let slip through his hands... and Praters first 29 yard FG isnt blocked.. and the Broncos put up 20 points on Urlacher, Peppers, etc when they had those points in their grasp.... would you guys still be talking the same crap about the Broncos offense?

Would the broncos top 2 recievers be anything more than 4th or 5th WR's on 90% of NFL teams?

I have been saying it since the start of the thread. They have no skill position players. Thomas is OK and young and fast. He also drops balls that Tebow puts right on his hands. He would be an up and coming 3 on most teams. Hes the 1 in Denver. Huge test this weekend for Denver I think we learn a lot more about them. Pats are my team and I have them as the #3 best team in the NFL behind Green Bay and Baltimore right now. Lets see if Denver is even competitive. It wont be a shock if they are.

the should be competitive because of their Defense. and the Pats D is a lot closer to Minny than to Chi-town. but, its still Tom Brady and the Pats are overall better than the Broncos.

Is this the same team that just gave up 24 and 27 points to the Colts and Redskins? You honestly think they're better than Pittsburgh, Houston, New Orleans and San Francisco?

Yes I do. Like I said earlier though, Im a hardcore Pats fan but I dont think we are beating the Ravens this year. The D sucks and we dont have a vertical threat. If we did get by Baltimore I really dont think we can beat GB. The Texans will be 1 and done in the playoffs. Even if your Jets play them, I dont like there chances. Pittsburg is banged up, and they barley beat us in Pittsburg, the gap is close. New Orleans is good, but they wont beat Green Bay anyway. Same goes for San Fran.

You're severely underestimating how good the Texans are.

I know how good they are. If they do it with a rookie QB Ill have all the respect in the world for them. Baltimore already slammed them in Houston. Whats going to change this time?

With Yates?

If they had Schaub they were my Super Bowl choice but Yates will get exposed, IMO.

Serious question. Lets assume Baltimore and New England get the first round week off. Pittsburg in Denver and your Jets at Houston. Are you saying Houston will beat the Jets?

pats aren't as good as the saints or frisco. or maybe houston-altho the qb question is a big one.
the pats d is horrible, witness yesterdays game with the skins. wash's avg score per game was 17. they almost doubled that.

THe team I really fear is the Giants. I think GB can beat NO again and anyone else who blitzes them, but NY can get there with 4 and I think Rodgers is more dangerous against the blitz than a straight four man rush.

Not worried about: Dallas, Atl, SF (Overated I think), Detroit, Chicago
Concerned about: NO
Worried about : NYG

Giants and Dallas will finish the rest of the season 1-2

Eagles will finish 3-0.

Eagles own the tiebreaker (since they've only played competitively against NFC East teams) and get into the playoffs at 8-8.

not likely.. but a girl can dream, right?

The NFL is all about match-ups. To say who is one and done before you see who they are playing is silly. New England would be a tough out for Baltimore who can't spread the field to take advantage of their awful secondary. Only Green Bay is above match-up concearns this year.

if houston meets denver, they won't be one and done. and i think they can handle the pats.

I think I said that in the thread where I said the Pats are in trouble this year because A. Baltimore is legit and B. even if we beat Baltimore, Green Bay is playing out of this world football.
