brutal trip by Whitney Valls on the 5 Windy Cafe in the opener. Went off at a surprising 11-1 considering she was a head back of the co-posttime favorite Kiruna and lost an iron in the stretch last time out... Thought we could sneak one by 'em, horse clearly didn't like being in that tight but she wouldn't let that stop her from trying to impersonate Borel.... horse finally gets a seam along the rail and hangs, tail swishing in the wind :
