![]() It's a crying shame,Horsey.
Buying a pig like Bourban Meyer and thanking Fickel for taking on an impossible situation by saying ,"no thanks". If you read about the guy and saw his pre and post game Michigan press conferences..you would have no doubt.Give Fickel 2 years and the normal power a HC has,he would have done the job and stayed here for years. Hiring a carpet bagging, take my football and go home pig like Bourbon utterly disgusts me.The moment it is official is the moment I lose complete interest in college football;with no interest in Ohio State, then there is no interest. |

![]() I'm glad you mentioned the post game conference after the Michigan game, because the guy impressed me. You could tell how much the game and the school meant to him. Similar to what Michigan has now with Hoke.

Thanks so much. One could see his sincerity. He only played here 4 years and I think set the record for consecutive starts at 50...and he was good, but not an AA.He just understands and has oodles of heart. He always played that way. He took over one of the worst possible situations possible. He didn't pack it in. He never cried about the lambasting he got from many in media and the "fans." Michigan made the right move, obviously. They did it without buying some name who quit his last team.I think Meyer is all money and glamor. |
