I was thinking there or from a liberated POW camp, say in the Philippines.
That guy I mentioned earlier in this thread, when he was liberated from his POW camp, he took the base commanders gun and shot him through the mouth, then took his samurai sword and lopped off the head.
He kept both the sword and skull as trophies.
The sword was beautiful.
