I think Winstar does a great job building their stallions. Obviously Ashford has greater resources, but I'd have sent him to Winstar over Ashford.

His two-turn BC Juvie win was light years better than his Champagne win.

I think he's a pure distance horse -- I would certainly play against him in the BC dirt mile this year. I don't think he's naturally fast enough to prefer a one-turn mile compared to a two-turn route.

Even if you look at his Moss Pace Fig line in the King's Bishop -- true sprinter/milers don't run weird lines like that.

Sure -- if he gets an easy uncontested lead in the mud over a wet-track going a one-turn mile - he will look like a miler.
