![]() I once read that when Lukas first came to TB racing, he started using them as the white both made it easier to ID his horse in a crowd down the backstretch, plus it was a "clean and sharp" professional fancy unique turnout on race day for Lukas Racing. Lukas was stickler for clean and sharp. Pletcher is a Lukas trainee, I'd guess he likes it, too.
If you're talking about the bitting, seems most of his horses go in a plain snaffle with a dropped noseband. Terrific pictures as always! Thanks!
