You and I are both choosing to be here today, now, and while all our hearts bleed for the memory of the day please don't pontificate to me and make it like because of the day it is somehow in bad taste to start this or any thread. It does not diminish anything, it is not disrespectful, I don't believe it's in bad taste.

I can pause to remember and do the small acts of patriotism and talk about and remember with loved ones and watch the tributes and feel sick inside but it doesn't mean that anthing else i choose to do on this day is somehow unAmerican. I don't think most of us are spending the day at church or anything.

Again I applaud and admire you for your years in the service.

I do completely disagree with you though and if no one else will tell you how bitter you appear moist of the time? I will.
