Mike has a reputation as a "lady's man", seem to recall a few years ago that his move to the west coast was necessitated by this. At the time they started dating, Chantal was just starting out and one can seen her attraction to a hall of fame quality jock. She seems to be a pretty talented rider and a good sport. I actually enjoyed the race although it proved absolutely nothing except Mike had the best horse...match races are only relevant when between horses.
