Newt Gingrich: 165-to-1 odds

Do any of those prices look better than the 3-to-5 on Obama?
i'd take romney at 5-1. i think most of the party will coalesce around him as the "anyone but bachman" candidate after she wins iowa and s. carolina. he'll have enough money and organization to absorb those losses and fight on. and he's already running as the nominee. note his absence in the debt ceiling debate.

he'll be reasonably formidable. i'd put his fair odds at 7-5. it's going to be a much tougher general election than a lot of democrats think unless the house repubicans actually decide to fly an airplane into the economy.

bodog just posted odds on the 2012 presidential election.

dems -155

reps +125

that's why i think 5-1 + on romney would be a great bet.
