By the way, I didn't cash on anything in it.
Why would the odds be important in this case (a 5f 2yo stakes in June)? Wasn't the other first time starter a relatively low price, too?

Who was the heavy in there?

A Johar half to Biofuel should be more like 55/1 debuting at 5fs.

Biofuel, a multiple graded stakes winning Canadian champion, won her debut sprinting over the same course for the same connections, a 20% barn that is one of the most recognizable in this country coming out of Canada.

She is an excellent drafter. Personally, I think she'd be a killer at 7f, having won 2 of 3 sprinting and showing some "hang", albeit against Grade 1 foes, at 9f last year.

But comments from Reade Baker suggests she will only route. Should start soon I'd imagine.

He was pretty crestfallen when her drafting skills couldn't wipe-out Devil May Care.
