![]() That pissed me off after having C S Silk in the race before. They should just stop running turf races in America if horses like that are going to win races like the Manhattan.

![]() Gio Ponti has the dubious distinction of losing to both Mission Approved (almost lost to him last year as well) and Interpatation.

![]() Gio Ponti was the star of the card.. Why Gio Ponti is even still running in 10f races is an indictment on two levels..The market for decent G1 grass stallions and just how awful G1 routing turf horses are in this country.

![]() They let both of them walk on the front end. Mission Approved was allowed to go 1:17, and he got brave. What were the other jocks thinking allowing him to do that?

Has nothing to do with jocks allowing anything in either of the turf events, and everything to do with the soft turf..

![]() Yesterday's Manhattan reminded me of when Interpatation walked around the track in the Turf Classic under similar (but probably worse) conditions and won at huge odds.

What does a 112 for Trap Shot mean Khan of Khans received a 95? You can take that fig and wipe your butt with it.. The fig is fine what it means about Trap Shot is debatable. Jason Blewit called him the best sprinter in training on Belmont in 30. I kind of think Smiling Tiger would eat his lunch at 6 or 7. |

He might have added a fifth of Jack to the equation, too. |
