Belmont cancelled today 6/9

I bet it was hotter than today on Belmont day 2008, though obviously Belmont day is a much bigger racing day than just a random Thursday Belmont card.

here in so. cal when it gets around 100, yeah its hot.....but, new york. its BRUTAL.

That day was freakishly hot, Belmont was steaming. The humidity made the second floor grandstand concourses a hazard. It was like, 75 the day before too. Woke up and thought they were joking on TV about what a steamer it was going to be...

Of course, there was the bathroom meltdown too.
