You're more likely to walk into a room where a unicorn is blowing a leprechaun than you are to find a woman in politics who doesn't look like a retired circus clown in a psych ward.

What's the point? I actually find a number of women in politics attractive but that has nothing to do with ability, I think it's overly simplistic to think women hate Sarah because of her looks...hopefully they don't hate her at all but see through her act to appear remotely qualified to be President. I admit that I partake in laughing at many of her soundbites, but not because I feel compelled to hate her...actually, I respect her for voicing her opinions, I just think she lacks the background and common sense for the office. I am uncomfortable when threads such as this turn to mocking and reliance on perceptions of beauty to determine someone's worth....I apologize if I've come off that way and will stick to issues in the future.

i have an issue with palin; her lack of intelligence and ability. i have an issue with the media giving her so much attention because i think they do so because of her appearance. i think it's that quality that brings so much attention. she's the danica patrick of politics. i don't resent either of them, but i find it funny that they get the attention because they look nice, while those with ability are rarely mentioned. picture headlines about racing:

danica fifth.

oh, and__________won.

and that is how it's done. ridiculous.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43285196/ns/politics/

Sarah Palin insisted Sunday that history was on her side when she claimed that Paul Revere's famous Massachusetts ride was intended to warn both British soldiers and his fellow colonists.

"You realize that you messed up about Paul Revere, don't you?" "Fox News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace asked the potential 2012 presidential candidate.

"I didn't mess up about Paul Revere," replied Palin, a paid contributor to the network.

"Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there. That, hey, you're not going to succeed. You're not going to take American arms. You are not going to beat our own well-armed persons, individual, private militia that we have," she added. "He did warn the British."

and i laughed and wondered why she didn't say which founding fathers she liked. she probably couldn't name any of them...

now, who's the dummy? her, or anyone who follows her?

Here's her score from politifact...

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me...-reveres-ride/

Check this link...guy made a documentary about her that releases in July...

Couple comments by the guy that directs..

"I believe in her. That's why I made the film," Bannon said. "She has a story that needs to be told."

"She's one of the most fascinating figures in America, and I think she's one of the most compelling stories," Bannon said.

Man this guy has been in the oven too long, he's cooked....

yeah, longfellow really helped paul revere's historical stature. until that poem, he was not even a minor player. matter of fact, i recently read 'the fort' by bernard cornwell. now, it's fiction, but it has some historical figures in it, including paul revere. he's not exactly a beacon of patriotism in that book-or apparently in the real setting that was the basis of the book(the penobscot expedition). yep, longfellow did that fellow quite a favor.
in his notes at the books' end, cornwell mentions a book by david hackett fischer about paul revere's ride. fischer describes the poem as "grossly, systematically and deliberately inaccurate".

Sarah Palin as the homeschool teacher of her children - doesn't that just fill you with hope for our future generations?

I feel so sorry for the little girl Piper Palin being dragged around in public like a prop, with no attempt to let her have childhood privacy or shield her from the press.

Ditto. Palin is an embarrassment to professional, accomplished women of achievement everywhere. And that has nothing to do with her looks. She's at least a great role model for exercise and proper weight (as opposed to Christie, Barbour, Cain, etc)

Default Sarah Palin's cult followers attempt to alter Wiki

Cult followers of Sarah Palin have attempted to change the Wikipedia page on Paul Revere to reflect the made-up nonsense Palin spouted publicly last week.
