As it happens, word of this broke last week when Sadler asked for an additional half barnful of stalls. Decorum prevented it from being disseminated before today.

![]() I have heard a couple of rumblings about Cali trainers wanting to move their horses east to run on dirt. On the flipside, the owners are wanting them to stay in Cali to run on PolyTrack. I wonder if this was a deal breaker between the two or if it was just an ingredient to the overall split. It is sad to see these two split because they had so much success. I wish both parties continued success.

![]() I also think its pretty apparent that there must be more to this than meets the eye. Gann has had more success than any owner in racing on a dollars and cents level. He didn't pay a million bucks for Medaglia, Peace, and You COMBINED!!!
Something of a personal nature, I suspect, caused this split. It obviously wasn't a performance issue. |

![]() I know someone who once had just one horse with Frankel and he told me (for what it is worth) that Bobby is very very shy to the point that he has much difficulty being sociable. This owner said that he is very soft spoken and the horse in question that he had was not up to being part of Frankel's stable and Bobby told him without looking at him when speaking that he should move his horse elsewhere.
So, if this is any indication, maybe it was from a personality standpoint as Oracle suggests. But, that is just conjecture... PSH

![]() Gann was probably tired of his horses ending up with no feet.
